HYDROCLAY
An excellent drainage substrate.
The porous structure of HydroClay will allow the establishment of beneficial bacteria that will break down waste.

Hydroclay is placed at the bottom of the tropical vivarium, then covered with a fine mesh to prevent substrate mixing (Terra Mesh or equivalent), followed by an acidic substrate such as blond peat (Terrarium Peat), coconut humus (Terrarium Humus), or smaller clay balls (ReptiClay). It is used for waste degradation and biotope improvement: the terrarium is an artificial environment in which plants and animals must regain their bioclimatic habitat. This substrate will allow you to create a natural vivarium that requires little human intervention.
