It is mainly used in terrarium keeping as a substrate for laying areas or incubators.
It can also be used as a draining substrate in high-humidity terrariums. It is regularly covered with peat (Terrarium Peat), and don’t forget to use a Repti Mesh to avoid mixing the two substrates.
Vermiculite can also be used for repotting orchids.
