Ultrasun lamps are intended for tropical or desert lizards and tortoises. Balanced UVB emission supports the growth of solid structures (scales, claws, shells) and prevents metabolic bone degeneration. The UVB rays in Ultrasun help reptiles synthesize provitamin D3 (optimal calcium absorption through vitamin D3 production). UVA provides physiological well-being by reducing stress. Ultrasun can be placed on top of the grid. Easy installation, as the lamp is self-ballasted: screws into a standard E27 ceramic socket (no separate ballast needed).
