The Mega Sun 2.0 Reptiles Planet bulbs emit low UVB (e.g., 20 W/cm² at 30 cm) and standard UVA (75 W/cm² at 30 cm). They are intended for animals with low UVB needs, such as amphibians, snakes, and all nocturnal animals (nocturnal geckos). This bulb, emitting a beautiful light (6700 K – CRI: 98), is sometimes used in combination with a Mega Sun 10.0. UVA provides physiological well-being for animals, reduces stress, and encourages food intake and reproduction. Mega Sun bulbs are therefore a real advantage for breeding snakes and nocturnal geckos.
