This lamp is ideal for terrestrial tortoises and lizards.

Reptiles enjoy radiant heat, meaning heat that penetrates the skin and warms from the “inside.”

It is a new way to heat a terrarium. The carbon heating element glows red and becomes very hot. This element is protected by a grille integrated into the lamp to prevent burns.
Compared to a ceramic lamp, the Repti Carbon Heater provides more heat (equivalent to a 100 W ceramic lamp) and its radiant power is higher.
