Twindome fixtures are designed to be placed or suspended above the terrarium and share the same essential features. The only difference between the two models lies in the maximum bulb wattage they can support.

Common features of both Twindome models

Both models are equipped with two E27 ceramic sockets, compatible with most bulbs used in reptile keeping. Each socket operates independently thanks to two separate switches, allowing individual control of each bulb.

This configuration makes it possible to connect each light source to a thermostat or timer, enabling separate programming of heat and lighting. For example, you can install one bulb for lighting and one for heating, while respecting day/night cycles and the thermal requirements of reptiles.

The wattage difference

• RP890614 - Twindome - Ø 14 cm - H 16 cm: designed to accommodate bulbs up to 100 W per socket.
• RP890615 - Twindome - Ø 16 cm - H 19 cm: capable of supporting up to 200 W per socket, making it more suitable for larger terrariums or species requiring higher heat output.

How to choose?

The choice between the two Twindome models depends solely on the wattage of the bulbs you intend to use and the thermal needs of your setup. Features, E27 compatibility, and independent bulb control remain identical.
