The Repti Heatcontrol stores programmed settings in the event of a power outage, allowing the parameters to be retained without reconfiguration once power is restored. A visual alarm indicates any operating anomaly in order to quickly alert the user.

Traditional thermostats control your heating/cooling devices by targeting a precise temperature. These devices generally have a sensitivity of 1°C. As a result, the temperature inside your terrarium changes rapidly throughout the day, with repeated on/off cycles of your equipment.
By using a wider temperature range with the Repti Heatcontrol, for example 2°C below and above the target temperature, heating phases become longer but less frequent.
