Lilou has been passionate about reptiles from a very young age and got her first reptile at the age of eight: a Hermann’s tortoise.

At 10 years old, she began taking an interest in other reptiles: snakes, crested geckos, leopard geckos, ball pythons, corn snakes (Pantherophis guttatus), and more. By the age of 14, Lilou was already highly knowledgeable about the most popular reptile species.

At 16, she started saving money to create a dedicated reptile room, gradually adding more terrariums and inhabitants. She realized that reptiles were what truly made her feel alive and inspired a passion unlike anything else.

At 19, Lilou created an Instagram account. Starting from scratch, she began sharing her daily life with reptiles and started breeding them, applying the skills she had developed through years of observing and caring for her animals. She also learned a great deal from other breeders, online forums, and books, and she continues to learn every day. She loves creating and sharing content about her animals with her community.
