His real name is Bastien Dragon (even his last name seemed like a sign of destiny), and Dragonimal has always been passionate about animals, especially reptiles, which have fascinated him from a very young age. As a child, Bastien spent his time observing nature and searching for hidden life under stones. Unlike many people, he never felt any fear toward them; on the contrary, he was always drawn to their calmness and uniqueness.

Bastien got his first reptile at the age of 14, a Pantherophis guttatus named Blizzard, who is still by his side today. In 2013, at 17, Bastien launched his breeding project, Dragonimal, with his first leopard gecko reproduction. Seeing animals being born and supporting them through their development remains a true achievement for him. The moment of birth is still, to this day, a magical experience.

Today, Bastien mainly specializes in leopard geckos, working with various lines such as Diablo Blanco, Bandit, Electric Tangerine, and Black Night, while also developing new projects like Red Diamond and Panda.

His approach is based on a simple principle: never compromising the health and well-being of the animals. Bastien aims to offer animals that are both aesthetically pleasing, in perfect health, and with a balanced temperament. Each breeding is carefully planned, with no inbreeding and no work involving problematic mutations.

Beyond genetic selection, Bastien places great importance on the individuality of each reptile. Every animal has its own character, and he takes the time to get to know them in order to best guide future owners toward an individual that suits them.

Bastien also places strong emphasis on education. He shares advice and best practices daily to promote responsible and respectful terrarium keeping, helping to improve the image of reptiles.
