The Turtle Island is a floating platform specially designed for aquatic or semi-aquatic turtle aquaterrariums. It creates a stable dry area that remains continuously accessible, which is essential for the animals’ well-being.

It allows turtles to leave the water to perform proper basking under a suitable heat lamp and to expose themselves to UV lighting when positioned above the platform. This exposure phase is essential for thermoregulation, digestion and calcium metabolism according to the biological needs of the species kept.

The gradual access ramp makes it easy to climb up from the aquatic area, while the textured surface improves grip and reduces the risk of slipping. The floating system automatically adapts to the water level, ensuring constant access to the dry area even if the water volume changes.

The Turtle Island also helps clearly structure the enclosure by separating the aquatic zone from the basking area, optimizing the organization of the setup and the positioning of equipment.

Available in sizes S, M and L, it allows the basking surface to be adapted to the size of the animal and the dimensions of the aquaterrarium.
