Repticlay is a mineral substrate made of natural clay, intended for terrarium setups for reptiles and invertebrates.

Its fine texture allows the soil to be shaped and structured to create elevations, compacted areas or stable layouts. Once moistened and then dried, Repticlay can harden and retain the given shape, making it suitable for creating natural décor, burrows or structured zones.

This substrate is suitable for arid, semi-arid or specific setups depending on the needs of the species kept. It can be used alone or combined with other substrates to adjust soil texture and compaction levels.

In installations that include a drainage layer, it can be paired with a lower layer of Hydroclay. Using a separation grid such as Repti Mesh between the drainage layer and the Repticlay helps prevent materials from mixing and maintains drainage efficiency.

Repticlay must be used in a properly ventilated terrarium suited to the biological requirements of the species kept.
