Reptawood is a plant-based substrate made of natural wood fragments, intended for terrariums requiring a well-draining and well-aerated floor.

Its coarser grain size allows excellent air circulation within the substrate and significantly limits compaction. Unlike fine or highly moisture-retentive substrates, Reptawood does not retain excessive humidity, making it suitable for dry to moderately humid setups.

This substrate is suitable for species living in lightly humid forest environments, dry temperate biotopes, or habitats requiring efficient drainage. It can be used alone to create a structured and stable base, or mixed with other substrates to adjust texture and moisture management.

Its fibrous structure helps create a natural environment while making terrarium maintenance easier. Reptawood is not intended for terrariums with constantly high humidity or very humid tropical setups.

It must be used in a properly ventilated terrarium suited to the biological requirements of the species kept.
