Compressed Cocochips Bedding is a natural substrate made from coconut fiber chips, specially designed for terrarium setups. Supplied in compressed form, it makes storage and transport easier while offering optimized yield after rehydration.

Once hydrated, the fiber quickly expands to form a ready-to-use substrate with a natural appearance and airy texture. Its chip structure promotes good air circulation at ground level while allowing appropriate moisture retention depending on setup management. It limits compaction and helps maintain a stable substrate over time.

This type of substrate is suitable for reptiles, amphibians and invertebrates requiring a well-draining base capable of maintaining controlled humidity. It can be used alone or combined with other substrates to adjust structure or humidity levels within the terrarium.

For reference, 500 g of compressed Cocochips produces approximately 3 liters of substrate after rehydration. Larger packaging sizes allow proportionally greater volume for large installations.

This product must be used in a properly ventilated terrarium suited to the specific needs of the species kept.
